Timeless, editorial photography for celebrations across Europe and beyond
Wedding photography that travels with you, captured with the same calm presence anywhere in the world.
A destination wedding is more than a single day. It is a gathering of the people you love most, in a place that means something to you, often unfolding across several days of dinners, ceremonies, and quiet moments together. It deserves a photographer who understands the rhythm of these celebrations and knows how to disappear into them.
I photograph destination weddings throughout Europe and worldwide with a calm, documentary approach. There are no staged setups, no lengthy interruptions, and no contrived poses. My work is rooted in observation, allowing genuine emotion to speak for itself. The result is a collection of photographs with a refined, editorial quality that will feel as relevant in thirty years as it does today.
Every collection includes a second photographer as standard, ensuring nothing is missed from welcome dinner through to the final night.
Why Couples Choose Studio Williams
A trusted photographer who travels with you
Bringing a photographer from home means having someone you have already met, briefed, and built confidence with. Rather than meeting a local photographer for the first time on the morning of your wedding, you arrive at the day with a familiar face who already understands your vision, your family, and exactly how you would like the day to unfold.
Two photographers, one seamless experience
Every collection includes a second photographer as standard, including for destination weddings. While I focus on the wider narrative, your second photographer captures the quieter details and parallel moments. The result is comprehensive, unhurried coverage with nothing overlooked.
Calm, considered, completely prepared
I arrive at every destination wedding a day or two before the ceremony to scout the venue, settle in, and ensure I am fully prepared. There is no jet-lag, no rushed introductions, and no last-minute logistics on your wedding morning, just a calm, familiar presence ready for the day ahead.
A refined, editorial finish
Every image is individually edited by hand. The tones are warm, the skin is true to life, and the final gallery has a polished, magazine-quality consistency. This is photography designed to look as beautiful in twenty years as it does today.
The Experience
What to Expect
From the moment you enquire, you will have direct, personal communication with me throughout the entire process. There are no assistants and no automated replies. Your wedding receives my complete, undivided attention from our first conversation through to the delivery of your final gallery.
Every collection includes a pre-wedding consultation to discuss your timeline, your venue, and the wider arc of your celebration weekend. I respond to all enquiries within 24 hours, and a small selection of preview images is shared with you within 24 hours of the wedding itself, so you have something beautiful to share with family and friends straight away.
Your full digital gallery, individually hand-edited, is delivered within twelve weeks of the wedding. Fine art printed albums are then designed and produced once your final image selection has been approved.
Collections start from £3,500 for full day coverage, including a second photographer as standard. Travel and accommodation for international weddings are quoted transparently as part of your bespoke proposal.
More Than a Folder on a Laptop
Fine Art Wedding Albums
Crafted to Last
A wedding album is how your day lives on, not as a collection of files on a hard drive, but as something you can hold, share, and pass down through your family. Every album I offer is handcrafted in Italy using archival-quality materials, thick lay-flat pages, and museum-grade printing rated to last over one hundred years.
I personally design the layout of each album, curating the images to tell the story of your celebration from the welcome dinner through to the final morning. The result is a considered, beautiful object that holds its quality and significance for a lifetime.
Albums are available as an addition to any collection and come in a range of cover materials including fine linen, Italian leather, and velvet.

Sean was the most wonderful photographer. He was calm, discreet, and somehow managed to capture every single moment we wanted without us even noticing. The photographs are absolutely stunning and we will treasure them forever.

Yes. Every Studio Williams collection includes a second photographer as standard, including for destination weddings. This ensures comprehensive coverage of your day, from separate preparations through to the late evening celebrations, and allows me to capture the wider story while the second photographer focuses on the quieter details.
For destination weddings, travel and accommodation are arranged separately and quoted transparently as part of your bespoke proposal. There are no hidden costs or surprises. I typically arrive a day or two before the wedding to scout the venue, settle in, and meet you and your families in person, ensuring I am fully prepared and rested for the day itself.
I specialise in a documentary, editorial style of wedding photography. My approach is calm, unobtrusive, and natural, capturing genuine moments as they unfold rather than staging or directing. The result is timeless imagery with a refined, magazine-quality finish.
Yes, additional days of coverage can be added for welcome dinners, rehearsal dinners, post-wedding brunches, or any other gathering across your celebration weekend. Many destination wedding couples choose to include this so the entire arc of the celebration is documented, not only the wedding day itself.
Most destination wedding couples book between 12 and 24 months before their wedding date. Popular European dates in late spring, summer, and early autumn are particularly sought after, so early enquiry is always recommended. I take a limited number of weddings each year to ensure every couple receives my full attention.
A small selection of preview images is shared within 24 hours of the wedding, so you have something beautiful to enjoy and share with family and friends straight away. Your complete digital gallery, individually hand-edited to a refined, magazine-quality finish, is delivered within twelve weeks. Fine art printed albums are then designed and produced once your final image selection has been approved.
Yes. A pre-wedding shoot is a wonderful way for us to get to know each other before the day itself. It is a relaxed, pressure-free session, usually lasting around an hour, and it gives you confidence in front of the camera so the wedding portraits feel entirely natural. For destination wedding couples, these sessions can take place in the UK or, where logistics allow, at your destination.
